Great Resignation to Great Retention: The Benefits That Matter Most

To put it lightly, the events of the past few years have been hard on everyone. The financial, emotional, physical and societal impact of current events have made the number one challenge of most organizations any day an even greater challenge – and that is attracting and retaining top talent.

What’s the one employee benefit you can focus on to move the needle toward recovery? Mental health. A study by Forrester and Modern Healthcare says that 80% of workers would stay at a company that provides high-quality mental health resources and 87% want their employer to care about their mental health. We are going to discuss “the how” of moving past EAP posters to building mental health into the fabric of company culture.

What actions are your company taking to demonstrate its investment in mental health? Already offer mental health coverage and an EAP? Wonderful, but it’s not enough. There’s great opportunity in redefining what the workplace and benefits look like in order to attract and retain talent.

Apex Benefits Vice President of Kinetiq Health Sarah Michaels, RN and Apex Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer, HR Consultant, and Associate Counsel Brooke Salazar, JD will discuss the most impactful ways you can help your organization recover from the impact of “The Great Resignation” to benefit from “The Great Retention Opportunity.”
